Lately, I feel the majority of Death Metal bands have been lacking in brutality. That’s not to say there aren’t some bands holding it down right now but most of them miss the mark. Now if you’re looking for a Death Metal band that’s got groove, and savagery with a little technical flare thrown in, check out Deliquesce. They’ve been writing grooving brutality in the vein of bands like Deprecated and Entorturement since 2019 and just released their first album entitled “Cursed with Malevolence” which crushes much of the overhyped death metal out today.
